TS-71式8倍雙筒望遠鏡用於野戰偵察、搜索及一般觀測使用。鏡筒內裝定分劃板，可經由判讀測估目標物距離。它係由二個稜鏡式直管鏡聯結軸結合而成，稜鏡式系統可產生正像，使視線間距加大，更具立體效果。左右目鏡之焦距可分別調整，以充分配合使用者之視力，及調整兩眼間距，作最有效之觀測。本望遠鏡各式透、稜鏡均為光學玻璃鏡片，物鏡部份均採多層鍍膜、增加光線之穿透率，在黃昏及光線稍暗處，尚可正常使用，觀測效果良好。

NBA1 Night Vision Binocular
The NBA1 Gen II innovation type (GEN2, Plus) single Tube Night Vision Goggle for fielded with the Army.
Operation of the NBA1 is controlled of the system obtained by a three position rotary switch
One ON position operates when the goggle is mounted on its facemask, and the other when it is dismounted in a handheld position. In both On positions, an infrared light source can be activated by depressing the button in the center of the switch, and turning the knob one more position. This Light Emitting Diode provides illumination for map reading or other close range tasks.
The NBA1 operates on two commercial AA batteries. The system can be fitted with either Gen II or Gen III image intensifiers.
The NBA1 can also be fitted with a selection of magnifying objectives that convert it to a high performance night vision binocular system for handheld observation. When the system is used as a goggle, a selection of facemasks and helmet mounting options are available to meet mission requirements.

SIGHTUNIT：M53（XM53E2）consists of TELESCOPE, ELBOW：M109 and MOUNT, TELESCOPE：M128E2 and is intended to replace SIGHTUNIT：M34A2 for mortars and rocket launchers and also the developmental sightunit for BATTLE GROUP ATOMIC WEAPON SYSTEM：M28 and M29.
The telescope is supported in the rotating head of the telescope mount which dovetails into a slot in a bracket on the weapon. A locking device, operated by a lever on the mount, secures the sightunit in the dovetailed slot. Worm mechanisms, scales, knots, and radioactive leveling vials for adjusting the sightunit in elevation and azimuth are on the mount.
The sightunit is used with LAUNCHER, ROCKET：multiple, 115-mm, M91.
LIGHT, INSTRUMENT：XM53 is used with the sightunit.

MOUNT, TELESCOPE：M25（T29）is used with TELESCOPE, PANORAMIC：M12A7C, or M12A7G on CARRIAGE, 155 MILLIMETER HOWITZER：M1A1 or M1A2 for CANNON, 155 MILLIMETER HOWITZER：M1 or M1A1. This mount is used for laying the weapon in elevation for direct or indirect fire. It is of the azimuth compensating type. It consists of a cross leveling mechanism, an elevating mechanism, an actualting arm with bracket, and a socket for the panoramic telescope. The mount tilts about the pivot in the mount actuating arm when the cross leveling knob is rotated. The elevating mechanism is actuated by the elevating worm（longitudinal leveling worm）. The actuating arm bracket supports the pivot for the cross-leveling mechanism. An alining bracket is provided for use of a gunner’s quadrant in checking elevation. The mount has cross-leveling and elevation scales. It has no angle of site mechanism. LIGHT, INSTRUMENT：M34 is used with the mount for night oeration.

AIMING CIRCLE：M2 is used to measure the azimuth and elevation bearing angles of a ground or aerial target with respect to a presselected base line. The aiming circle has many of the characteristics of a surveyor’s transit, Basically, it consists of a telescope mounted on a mechanism which permits unlimited azimuth and limited elevation movements. By rotating two orientating knobs, zero azimuth heading with respect to magnetic north or any other selected compass heading can be established. The azimuth control knobs can be disengaged ofr rapid movement by exerting an outward pressure on the knobs. The mechanisms are spring-loaded and will reengage when outward pressure is removed. A locking device secures the compass after the orienting adjustment has been made.

QUADRANT, FIRE CONTROL： gunner’s M1 or M1A1, is a portable precision leveling instrument used for laying artillery weapons in elevation, for measuring their angles of elevation and for checking the adjustments of elevating mechanisms on sight ing and fire control equipment. It consists of a sector-shaped frame to which is pivoted a leveling radial arm carring a level vial tube assembly. Four frame shoes, arranged in pairs, provide two reference surfaces at right angles to each other for seating the instrument when taking readings. Machined teeth on the inside are of the frame, engaging with a spring-loaded plunger in the radial arm, permit rapid setting of the arm in coarse 10-mil steps, as read on elevation scales provided on each side of the frame. The left scale is used for elevations from 0 to 300 mils, and the right scale is used for elevations from 800 to 1,600 mils. The leveling radial arm has a micrometer graduated in 0.2 mil steps which provides fine adjustment. By the use of the coarse and fine motions, the level can be set to the required angle. When the level bubble is centered, elevation is read as the sum of the coarse and fine scale readings. An arrow with instructions “LINE OF FIRE” is scribed on the frame to indicate the direction the instrument is to be faced and the correct reference surface for the scale in use. The gunner’s fire control quadrant M1 or M1A1 is used with various rifles, guns, gun carriages, self-propeiled guns, gun motor carriages, antiaircraft gun mounts, cannons, cannon and carriage transport vehicles, sombat tanks, tracked armored landing vehicles, multiple rocket launchers.
